It's Been A Long Time...
Hello hello hello
Wow it's been so long since I've touched this thing. Well I think it's time to rekindle this beaauuuttiful relationship...
I'm still going to bring you originality. urbanese. style. And yes, school is back in session.
So sit back, relax, lets turn to page one in this new chapter.
I definitely have to give this place a facelift, so expect those changes, too.
Til later.....

Ali Boulala
World famous skateboarder, Ali Boulala, has been sentenced to 4 years in jail with a non-parole period of 2 years for a motorcycle crash back in March 2007 that killed up and coming skateboarder, Shane Cross, and critically wounded himself.
Pretty sad stuff when it definitely wasn't intentional. But I would have to agree with the judge when he told Boulala, "You were therefore aware of the potential ramifications...You threw caution to the wind at a later stage on this evening".
Ali was so critically injured that he had to be put under a medically induced coma for 65 days until his vital signs were stable. It still isn't certain if he'll ever be able to get on a skateboard again due to a severe brain injury.

Cross Your Fingers!!
I came across a guy named Phill that works at the Sunoco that I pump my gas at most days. I walked in to pay and noticed him drawing a design on a Converse. It was the best art I'd seen in a while. I went home and started of thinking of different blog ideas. I knew that I HAD to have his artwork incorporated into the blog, and I also wanted to profile his work on the blog because trust me people, it's just that fresh.
I ran the idea by him briefly on my home and he was down with it. Hopefully soon I'll be able to showcase a little of Phill's work on this blog. So keep your fingers crossed!!!
Other than that, I really want nothing but the freshest graphic artists, skateboarders, bands, lyricists, etc on here. So if you know someone or if that someone is you, definitely get at me.

Good Music Gone Bad
I love the bands that don't conform. Prime example, Gym Class Heroes...originality from all angles (which is totally just my opinion). Even the new refreshing voices of R&B such as Estelle and Chrisette Michelle. But these are only a start. How can we get rid of, do away with "cranking that soulja boy", "dun dun dun dun", or some kid asking you to "google" her?
Can anyone help? Music is dying. I'm talking about the good shit. The stuff that's worth your time listening to. The kind that makes you feel some kind of way after you've finished listening to it. The kind that brightens your day, puts you in a good mood, and KEEPS you there.
I'm conducting a survey on this topic and will post the results once I've gotten all the responses in.
The search for good music continues....
